It is a great group to belong to and participants really enjoy the socialization as well as the quilting!

BEGINNERS CLUB
The Nimble Thimbles meet monthly at Silver Thimble. Nimble Thimbles is a group for beginners who have made a quilt or two or three, but still feel a little intimidated when starting a new project. This group helps to inspire the confidence to continue with other projects. If you feel like you are on your own after taking a beginner class and don't know where to start, then this group is for you. The group is a working group and meets the 1st Thursday of each month, 5:30-8 PM . Someone in the shop will be available for advice and to answer your questions (about quilting!). The nice thing about this group (besides the socialization) is that someone is available to offer suggestions when you are ready to learn it! Join with other beginners and learn about quilting as you construct your quilts. No charge for this group, but registration is required.

QFL (Quilters Football League)

(They thought I was going to insert the group picture when they were posing and not clowning around. Fooled them! – those of you who were absent missed the fun!)
15...35...45...Touchdown!!! Seems like you should be hearing a call like this at our monthly huddles! QFL is really about quilting, though, and not about football, so you certainly don’t need to worry if you have joined the team!
Silver Thimble July QFL Special is 21% off regular priced Christmas fabric (excludes Thimbleberries)

Coming Up Daisies will be the Scrap Therapy project for July. It is a bright, cheerful and easy to make quilt that uses all 5” blocks, plus scraps for leaves and sashing and borders. You can make it any size from a table runner to a wall hanging to any size quilt. Since it requires minimal additional cutting, it goes together very quickly, so you can get on to other scrap projects! July dates are the 19th and 20th, so stop in and sign up!
