Buck A Block Series 6 is here! The new series features 2.25" Thangles . This year's will be a smaller quilt, as per requests, and blocks will finish to 9". The size of the finished quilt will be 63 X 78. It will be available in two different colorways. One colorway will feature the Paint Box fabrics, and the second will be bright fabrics. As always, the blocks will be available for $1.00 You can purchase one a month for $1.00. If you wish to make a larger quilt, you may purchase additional blocks for $3.00 each.
This year we are enhancing the Buck-A-Block Series. The quilts will also feature a pieced border, and kits will be available each month for the border. Fabrics in the border will coordinate with the quilt, and will negate the need to purchase a large finishing kit at the end of the year.
We will also be offering a Buck-A-Block Challenge this year. Participants in the Buck-A-Block program can use the pattern they receive this year to produce a second block (using your own fabrics from home) and thus a second quilt. If you bring your challenge block in each month when you purchase the new Buck-A-Block, you will be eligible for prizes. (You do not need to bring in a finished Buck-A-Block each month.)
